I am new. I have cptsd from brain infection may 2014. I almost died was in medically induced coma on a vent multi Organ failure. My issue now is having been retraumatized. Husband a veteran doomsday prepper follows world events. He was insistent on others needing to do the same. Insistent I learned to use firearm. I tried but in trying to follow him I went down the rabbit hole. I do have a stun gun I am comfortable with. I am back in therapy. I have fears that I am not safe at all and no amount of weapons etc is going to help

@Flying dove welcome to MSF. I am sorry you are feeling pressure by your husband to follow their preparations for an anticipated world disorder. That must be a contributing factor to your anxiety along with the reactions of your husband.
Hope you get benefit from therapy. Glad you joined the site. @CANDC __________________ Super Moderator Community Support Team "Things Take Time" |

I am already improving. There is no way my husband is going to give this up. So I am going to let him continue looking for the end while I get out of the way. Radical acceptance.
