Hej. Started my morning by spending an hour working. It's proving more difficult than expected to get the desired behavior in the app. I asked the development team if there's any way to achieve what I want. Fingers crossed.
Relaxing before officially starting my day. |

Howdy. At the shelter. Finished last changes required on my project.
Today was another banger of a day filled with work. Got quite a few things done and I'm inching ever closer to finishing the issue I'm currently working on. The tricky issue from this morning got resolved. It was an easy fix. Though I had to opt in for unstable API which is something I really didn't want. Oh, well. Will have to see what the future reserves if my app makes it into the world. Other than that, tomorrow the library is closed, as well as Monday due to bank holiday. I'll work from the cafe. Which means, less expenses on the morning coffee (no croissant). Tomorrow I'll have a free afternoon decaf oat latte. Yay. And will be after I will have the super awesome magic smoked tofu wrap. Hooray. Last, but not least, to reward myself for all the hard work: Chana Masala medium spicy with some green chilli and steam basmati rice in the evening, for dinner. A-yeah! Let's gooo! Soon, US Open will start too. All in all, things are going great. I'm alone in the room. Probably the narcissistic bully roommate is off until Wednesday next week. It wouldn't be bad for it to be true. Fingers crossed. |

It's James Bissonnette's fault. Ah, the comments section. 😄 |

Halo. Got a few things done this morning. Man it feels good when things just work. Now, relax time. Still have plenty left to implement when I start my day. Here's to never ending work. Alas, there must be a cutoff time, otherwise I'll never get to (if I get to) release.

Warning: contains violence (videogame) Isn't it cool how when Kung Lao played against Scorpion, with Smoke and Jade clues on, the message from Smoke when he appeared was "Prove yourself" while when playing against others would've been different? It's because Smoke is one of the three ninjas (henceforth his other message: "I'm one of the three"). Also, both smoke and Jade revealed their names and when he played against Jade, Shao Kahn would say her name when she won, whereas without the clues on, he wouldn't say anything when she won. Also interesting to note is when Jade says "I'm one of the three" mirroring the ninjas but for female: Kitana, Mileena and her. Also interesting to note that when fighting Shao Kahn nobody says who's winning as it's Shao Kahn himself who says that, only that now you're fighting him. |

At the cafe. I asked for a decaf Americano with oat milk (and a croissant: what can I do? Couldn't resist it - the croissants are not as fresh as the ones from where I usually buy, at this cafe, but they're good enough) and the barista made me a cappuccino, haha. She laughed. I said thank you. Funny moment.

A day that was full has passed. Today I worked nonstop, again. A few things left to do for Monday + rest of work. This one was hard. Had to figure out configuration + implement the right code. Took me a while but in the end, it is working (at a first glance). More tests needed.
Took my B12 vitamins and now onward to a relaxing weekend. |

Mornin'. So last night, after my last post, I tried going to sleep but I couldn't. There were a few things work related that couldn't let me sleep. So I spent 15 minutes working on them and resolving them. And it works.
Then, I had to play two mindfulness meditations for sleep in order to fall asleep - later than I usually fall asleep. Though, it was worth it. |

My mind feels much better after getting sleep. Not so wired like it was yesterday. Too much intensive work. Have to be careful not to overstep and go into burnout zone. That's why it was so hard for me to fall asleep last night. Ah, the life of a developer.
Anyways, let's refresh with some physics. If we can prove ER = EPR, our life would be so awesome. AdS CFT FTW, despite voices saying "oh, why you do it in anti desitter space? Real space is not like that" to which I'd say: why do you do simulations on a classical computer? Real space is not like that. What a **** question. We do it in AdS because it might help us understand real space just like doing analysis on planets other than Earth helps us better understand Earth. It's quite simple, really. Anyways, when I learned about er = epr, I got onboard. It must be right. It's so elegant. Of course, it's not a guarantee and experiments will hopefully shed some light. |
