Depression can make you feel that all passion, all interests are gone. It can cause detachment to the point of one's life feeling unreal. Are you in therapy? It would be good to have a professional to sort out your feelings with, so that you can gain a deeper understanding of what is going on, and what can be done to set you on a road to healing. Best wishes.

Hi ~ I agree with Lavieenrose ~ Depression can make you feel like that. I think I'd suggest first that you see your medical doctor to make sure that everything is ok -- perhaps some blood work just to make sure everything is normal. And if your doc says everything is ok, he might put you on an antidepressant. I've been depressed almost all my life - even as a child - and I take an antidepressant and it REALLY helps me. I feel "normal" (whatever that is). I don't feel so sad anymore and I don't feel like sleeping my life away. Perhaps it would help you too.

Give your doctor a call and tell him how you're feeling. He can help. God bless. Hugs, Lee
