What an unexpected day I had and could use some kudos because I did my best. I woke up with unusual pain in my jaw and couldn't open my mouth. Called the MD and went in. He sent me everywhere which took most of a day. It seemed that no matter what direction I took I ended up somewhere else with another problem. My problem is mostly resolved at this point - yay!

But I almost reached a point of frustration and felt like giving up when I met obstacle upon obstacle. This would be how I usually handle things and why I rarely see a doctor or ask ppl for help. Anyway, just as I reach that point I caught myself and reminded me that all my frustration and giving up doesn't help nor accomplish anything. Talking to others and doing what I can to resolve things does.

So I pushed myself to make calls - to ask questions - to ask for help and all along the way i got it ! This has been a new experience for me this year. Can you imagine that? It took me a whole life time to realize that instead of giving up I just had to ask ppl for assistance and direction to get it.

I am now pleased with myself for the day having this recognition sink in. I got done what was needed and ppl were mostly nice and helpful today. I am learning everyday it seems.

I'll have to remember to ask people for advice when I get frustrated, thanks for the idea!
