Today was such a terrible day. it was going great until I decided to sign on my twitter page. worst.idea.ever. A friend of mine who i've been doing a lot of nice things for lately and helping her out decided to take to her twitter and personally tweet everyone who has been doing nice things for her lately and completely ignored me it's probably the stupidest reason ever to be upset but it really ruined my day. I went from being in a great mood (which is rare) to absolutely miserable in a matter of however long it took me to see all the tweets on my timeline. I don't want to bring it up because I don't want to look like i'm clingy or anything, but i'm 100% convinced that nobody ever notices anything I do for them and it makes me so sad it makes me not want to do anything nice for anybody anymore because i'm just completely invisible and i'm the one who ends up getting hurt.

Might want to reconsider who you call a friend. To be ignored like that is cold and very ill mannered of her. It's happen to me with an old school mate who embarrassed me
on an alumni site....Take it with a grain of salt..a-holes are just that; a-holes.

(((FeelingLonely)))

Your emotions are understandable. I can relate. Not that you need a lot of a-kissing, but it sure would be nice if you were recognized for doing helpful things for Jane. Just a little "thumbs up", flowers from her garden, or a nice pic ~ that's perfectly reasonable, imho.

Hopefully, your friend will see that she hurt your feelings and apologize for mistakenly doing so. Best wishes to you!

I completely understand how you feel. I go out of my way to help someone and they can't even manage to give me a thank you! I can't stand that, I'm not here to be walked all over me and taken advantage.

Been feeling a bit under appreciated as of late, so I feel I can relate to this entirely. It's like the more I do for someone they more they expect me to do for them.

I'm sorry you feel invisible, people sometimes don't realize how much effort and consideration you put into helping them.

I can completely understand. Your so-called "friend" is no friend at all. She's very ungrateful -- but giving her the benefit of the doubt, she just MIGHT have accidently left your name out.

There have been many times that I have felt invisible too. It's a horrible feeling. I can see being unnoticed in a room full of people, but when you're with a "group" of 3 people, and THEN go unnoticed, that's pitiful! LOL That's happened to me many times. Guess I need to be more assertive.

Just know you aren't alone. Please take care of yourself & God bless. Hugs, Lee
