I usually wake up bummed about my life.
I have an iPad and I sit at the kitchen table every day catching up on emails and things before work. This kitty, Holly, jumps on my lap and purrs and lets me squeeze her belly. It's a little like a stress ball. It helps a bit. Sometimes it's the little stupid things. Small distractions. You know?

I know exactly what you mean. I also have a cat, and sometimes when I feel my worst, he comes to me and "demands" attention -- I think he knows when I'm not feeling well. He'll jump on my lap, purring, and rubs all over me.
Somehow, it just makes me feel better knowing this ball of fuzz loves me regardless of how I feel. ![]() Animals are great! ![]() |

That's the great thing about animals -- they love us unconditionally. So glad you have this kitty!
