First you have to stop being so hard on yourself. NO ONE IS PERFECT. Do you expect to be perfect? I hope not because none of us is ever going to hit perfection.

And you can't explain to your parents why you're not perfect, because you never WILL be, and THEY aren't either!! Do you think your family is perfect? I hate to tell you this but they have a LOT of faults too! They aren't perfect. They have lots of things wrong with them just like everyone else.

There is no reason for you to have to explain yourself to them. You are different, and they're different too. We all are.

Are you in therapy? It might be a good idea if you were. Is there some way you could get into therapy? Are you in school? If you are, how about talking to the school counselor? He/she would be HAPPY to talk to you. Give them a chance, and stop in and talk to them. They are there to help.

I wish you the very best. God bless and please take care. Hugs, Lee
