My anger is reaching new heights, I just threw my phone out the window for not working, and another time I threw a shovel at someone who made me angry. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can be more calm.

Have you tried meditation? Or talking to a therapist to help you learn some coping strategies?

Controlling Anger -- Before It Controls You This site looks like it could be helpful! I can't really judge though, because I am very lucky and don't have problems with anger management! I find when I'm angry that verbalizing it works for me - "I'm upset right now because you're being rude to me when you ignore me." or "I'm reallllly angry because this stupid computer isn't doing what it's supposed to do!" "AARGH I cannot find my hairbrush!!!! Where did I put the stupid thing!??!"
