I seem to switch between anger and sadness for emotions. I seem to lose control a lot. Is there anything that might calm me down?

I've tried books and movies but that doesn't work.

can you take any meds or are you on any that could relax you? Nothing too strong, i know I'm on several meds, but if i miss even one on my schedule i get down in the dumps so i have to look in my pill box to make sure i didn't miss any, oh how frustrating i know, but it works for me. I missed one sevaral days ago, one of my strong ones and have had a headache for 3 days and it's a migraine. The thing is too i was raving about how good they work, i hadn't had a migraine in over 2 years and look what happns???!!!Well i guess that's life!!
