I always do this but I tend to focus on people's facial expressions to gauge what they are thinking about me. I think I am often wrong though.
Im studying library science right now but am unsure if its the right field for me. I was at work today talking to my co-worker Kim who is about 50 and a children's librarian. I told her I was thinking of being a children's librarian too. She just said "Ah" and kind of looked away. I immediately had this thought of like...."she thinks I can't do it/am not cut out for it". Thing is I'm NOT sure I even wanna do that in the end...but am I crazy to read into that? And feel so bad about it?? Alma |

Maybe she was thinking "why would she want to do this boring job". You have to remember that everything is not about you. Trying to read people's thought by their facial expressions and assume that it their thoughts are all about you is asking for hurt and anguish. I would quit trying to read people's thoughts if I were you.
