I suffer or have done for quite some time with crippling stress and anxiety sometimes it is so bad I have difficulty leaving my home. I constantly have to push myself through it - until I come out the other side.

I wish I could get rid of these feelings - I know I would be happier in myself more of the time.

I don't think anyone realizes how crippling stress can be unless they have experienced it for themselves. There are times when I can hardly breathe or have panic attacks My body feels tight and rigid and as well as the stress and anxiety I feel fearful of everything not wanting to go out - not able to concentrate on things that need to be done I just hover from one thing to another causing yet more stress! Any advice? - I hate stress

I absolutely can relate to this, basically my life in a nut shell. The tension, the fear, all of it. I wish I could give you more advice but I'm still struggling with it myself. I had tried to deal with it on my own since I was 13 but now I'm seeking medication and therapy. So far I'm not out of the weeds yet, but I really hope you can find something that works for you. I know how difficult it is. :/

Anxious and stressed today. My car is in the garage and I feel quite trapped here today - too many thoughts racing through my mind - trying to solve problems - trying not to worry Its just one of those days

Hard to focus when stressed. Best to focus on one of the top priority problems, but also important to take time outs and let go of everything when you need to. I don't think it's good to "push through" stress/panic/anxiety but rather to let go. I'm going to be dead one day, and then none of this matters, so I can afford a time out. There is nothing I do that is so critical. Even if I'm driving, one of the more dangerous things I do, I can pull over and turn off the machine. If I'm cooking, I can turn off the machines and walk away.

Thank you very good advice - you are so right we will all be dead sometime - and no amount of stress and worry will change that. So easy to say and so often so hard to do but I must remember that and also what is the worst that can happen ....

BE Safe!!!

I was very stressed when going thru my first Divorce. long story short I blacked out behind the wheel in my pickup truck and hit a bridge abutment at 75 miles an hour! came to only when the truck stopped. (went airborn, rolled went airborn again rolled again, finally came to a rest aginst the center barrier on the hiway)

fortunitly I was not hurt, but the point here is that Stress can do unknown and or unexpected things to you and your body. so please,

BE SAFE!

Yes they do say stress is the biggest killer I agree it puts so much pressure on you physically - I just wish I knew how to avoid it. Being stressed doesn't solve anything - just makes you feel bad and unable to cope!
