I wish I were out in the world achieving great things and living a full life, but I'm just too exhausted to do anything.

I don't want to try anything new because I'll just muck it up and piss off everyone around me with my failure. I don't want to be told I'm not good enough or I'm not trying hard enough. I just want to retreat and stay out of everyone's way.

PS. I'm not suicidal, just avoidant.
PPS. My sleeping is fine, so it's not that.

I feel the same way, too. Nothing appeals to me but the couch. I do work but just manage to make it through day.

Putting demands on oneself is rough and depressing. No need to do Great Things! Be yourself. Relax, pop in a movie, and spread out on the couch!

I am sorry you feel so detached
Sometimes putting on music and going for a walk alone helps me
Good luck to all of you
Thanks for this!
