Feel isolated and numb
I can't stop crying and it's a because my dog has died. He may be just a dog to people but to me he was my soulmate and he listened to me and was always there when I was down when nobody else was. I have lost my only friend in this world and I want to join him. I can't cope ![]() |

i am truly sorry for ur loss, it's verry hard to lose a pet,
especially one you,ve called best friend. I cried for two days when I lost my cat. He wuz great. He used to always sleep on top of my head. .. anyway, I had one of my close friends at the time, sketch me a pic of him, in his memory, still have it. I understand ur pain. Feel better soon.

I am sorry you lost your dog, IMHO, it is just as hard as losing a person.
I am sure you really loved your dog, and your dog had a wonderful life because of "you". I know there is a definite empty space right now, but I am wondering if you can open your heart to finding a puppy or even adopt a dog from a shelter and give another dog the opportunity to be loved by someone so caring as you are? When I see someone so broken hearted as I see you are, I always have so much respect and am so glad that a dog had such a good home and life. I really love dogs, they are so special and add so much to our lives. I always feel bad for the dogs that end up in shelters with no one to love them. (((Hugs))) OE |

Thank you open eyes. I feel his presence in the room. There was a rainbow this morning once we left the vets. I take this as a sign. I would love another puppy but as I love with family they don't want another dog. But am so lonely and a dog is my help for anxiety and company

I'm so sorry for your loss. I've been there, too. It felt like my heart was ripped out. I was lucky and in the position to adopt shelter dog. She is totally different than my last one, but made her place in heart and I will definitely grieve for her when she is gone. I then adopted a 10 year old shelter dog who has also, got my love, too. He's thirteen now. I will grieve when he's gone, too.
Give yourself time. With some time you'll be able to look back on the good days with loved one and smile instead of cry. Best Wishes to you.
