I wouldn't advise drinking a lot of caffeine but a disturbance in your sleep pattern is definitely a symptom of depression. I know it is tough to get your sleep back to normal but I've realized how important the circadian rhythm is to getting your mental state to where you want it to be. At my worst I had an inverted sleeping schedule (waking up when everyone was going to bed and same for going to bed). And at the worst moment I was sleeping 21 hours a day and was just an empty shell.

Sooooo. With some exhausting work in trying to regulate my own sleeping schedule, I've definitely gotten a lot better and feel a lot better. If you need to, use caffeine to help you wake up in the morning but I wouldn't suggest to over do it.

Best of luck and feel free to pm me!
