I'm 23 & i recently discovered that I'm bipolar. After struggling with this for years I never was able to understand why I am the way I am & although I always thought to myself "is something wrong with me?" I usually shrugged it off & thought it was just my personality to be this way. I recently spoke to a psychologist & she diagnosed me with bipolar disorder. My question is where to start first to help me treat this? Will this still occur when If I take meds?? My anxiety is ALWAYS High about EVERYTHING, my mood swings change within seconds & I can't help but let them get the best of me. I have no motivation to do anything & it's affecting me at my job

Relax! You are Normal. Anxiety is just Anxiety, and all of us experience it from time to time. Take labels such as BP with a grain of salt. Work with your Therapist on your Anxiety. Remember, you are still "Normal".

You're going to have good days and bad days. Enjoy the good one and on bad ones try to remember that our bipolar lives are like waves. The bad wave will pass and you'll feel good again.
Hope you feel better soon.
