Just got back to my hole in the wall (bedroom). My comfort zone, the place I feel the most safe. Odd saying that, being so close to the age of 40. My other severe security blanket is my husband. I feel manic without him near. He calms me. It seems he is the only one that understands my situation. I cry without him. Then there are my two dogs. They comfort me as well. They just know when something is not right. They automatically come to me when I cry. My standard poodle wakes me when I have slept too long and my bichon frise snuggles and gives me comfort to say it's okay.

Do you have security blankets? Please share.

I have a necklace I have to wear everyday all day. It contains my twins ashes. She was never free to do as she wished or go where she wanted. So I take her everywhere and I panic hardcore if I forget her. I don't wear her when I shower. I also right after she died would take her Abu monkey everywhere with me. School, work, the bar, everywhere.
