I'm seeing my doctor for all my mental health issues.

But the one that nobody can control is my anger.

There is usually a few people who set it off and a few subjects also.
I literally see red and lose control. I threatened to hurt people..actually went to hurt someone and luckily someone stopped it. I hate that I can't control my emotions and most of the time after calming down..I don't even remember.
I hate this.

anger is a difficult thing. one of the things is to recognize the signs of when you are beginning to get angry. what happens...do you feel your blood pressure rise, your face flush, do you clench your teeth, your fist, begin to sweat. if you notice these things ahead of time, before the explosion then you can take measures to remove yourself from the situation before you go off. also identify your anger triggers. what types of things make you angry. then be prepared for them so you can avoid them or not react to them when they happen. there are three rules for anger management to learn and follow. recite them daily so they pop into your mind when you are angry and hopefully you will follow them. do not hurt yourself. do not hurt others . do not damage property. Hi,
I get pissed off easily and especially I don't get what I want. I'm trying to control my anger but my Mom like to "set me off." she doesn't learn when I say "no, or drop the subject." She wait until I get pissed off and then she will stop. She said "I'm so different when I was younger." I currently not seeing a therapist since I can't afford to go.

Do you have a therapist? This is something that you can work on intensely with a T. There are workbooks available that you can use with your T, as well. Good luck with this. Remember, thoughts and feelings seem to have a life of their own, but you can always stay in control of your behavior.

I also have trouble controlling my anger. Right now I'm very angry about a situation I'm in caused by one person.
I hope I don't go off on her, she won't know what hit her! I can control my anger most of the time, but this ***** is pushing the limit.
