So my one and only friend has gone away for a couple of weeks and they are really my only emotional support.

I am scared of what it is going to be like without them. I am already stressing because I spend a lot of my time with them and I don't know how I am going to handle being bored and alone.

Any advice?

Can you talk to your friend on the phone for a few minutes everyday? It might help.

Not really as they are in a different time zone.

I am trying to stay busy but I keep thinking "What happens when I finish what I am doing"

sorry to hear about that

If they have internet maybe you could send an e-mail and maybe then can send one back to you when they're awake. That way you will feel like you're hearing from them even if they're not around all the time.

My cousin is really close to me, we spent our childhood together, but I had to move away, but we send each other a text message everyday, it feels like we're connected.

Do you have pets ? or if it's alright with you, maybe you could go places, who knows, you may find new friends, although that's really hard.

The only thing I can possibly think of is develop some kind of hobby. When you are busy doing things your mind is occupied with what you are doing instead of dwelling on the negative aspects of your situation. Plan your week with things like...clean closet out, tidy house, etc. Also, what is there in your life that you always wanted to do. Horse riding, ice skating, bowling, arts and crafts.
I am only trying to make suggestions....
