Just got to go to my son's house for the first time in years. It went well. I was nervous but planned some topics for conversation in my mind. Really fine. Amazing to be there! Got home and was so over stressed Ihave been reading and writing and trying to deal ever since. This is a hard to handle high.

You called on your courage and got through this visit well but I imagine it took a lot of stuffing emotions and now they have to go somewhere ... which is what you are dealing with now. It may feel scary but try allowing some time for this to play out. It would be helpful to have someone to talk to during this time like a therapist or good friend.
Thanks for this!

I think you got it. I have a lot stuffed. I think the therapist I am working with will be pleased to hear I made it! It is so hard sometimes .

Yeah, but hard doesn't mean it is impossible. You did do it and the next hard thing may be a little easier because of your grit.
Thanks for this!
