Maybe it isn't just a matter of being weak, but setting better boundaries instead. Allowing others to carry their weight more.
Thanks for this!

Hi Jenni, no-one can be strong and responsible all the time and no-one should be expected to be.
Although you know sometimes there's far more strength in admitting we're weak.........in saying we can't...........!!!
So yes, absolutely you deserve support just as much as anyone else. You do need to put yourself first at times, you do need to do/say what's best for you at times.
Hoping you can think of some ways you can "let go" a bit, but if nothing else right now..........you can be weak here..........we're here for you
And we're here for you if you want to talk..............

Alison

I feel like you right now. I'm so tired of carrying everyone else load but I don't know how to say enough no. I sure hope you find some relief soon.

Cannot deal with people expecting so much but getting nothing back. Tired of playing mommy to hosts of people, some years and years older then me. It is like others don't see me as a person worth bothering with and that I am less important then them and their needs. Seriously fed up.

Been there, done that, Jenni, needing to be the strong one with everything under my thumb. There is a deep fear that things will unravel, and it makes sense too, that things will fall apart if I let up. But somehow, some way, when I let up, my world survived. Maybe not quite my way, but it did. What a relief it was for me to learn this.
