Why do I allow myself to be happy?

Just sounds like excuses though for yourself. Perhaps out of fear which is okay. I'm afraid too and I like to make excuses for myself to avoid doing things that I should perhaps do.

I'm seriously not making excuses....I can't fix the transportation issues. I can't do it. No buses come out my way. No friends to ask for rides...and family can't be bothered to take me places. I have no bike because my mom sold it...and it's too damn cold to walk anywhere. Besides...there isn't anything nearby to walk to. What more do you want as proof that I am not making excuses?

Look, my phone is almost dead...i'm gonna habe to pick this up when I get home and on my computer.

Nope. I can't drive and don't think I'll ever be able to do so.

Sorry, "getting out" is a good idea in theory, just not practicality. Like I said before...I'm pretty much ****ed...and not in the good way.

Look, I tried to get my license three separate times already. Mom says the reason I didn't pass was because I have severe issues with spacial awareness. So driving is out of the question.

I'm just going to have to get used to being single, unless you have any bright ideas for online places that aren't dating sites, that I can meet single local guys interested in dating.

It is possible that, with respect, your mother is not particularly expert on driving and passing tests - what did your driving instructor say?

That I needed a one on one driving instructor, and the private instructor my mom hired said I wasn't really all that capable of driving.

So yeah, I'm not likely going to get a license any time soon. Which is fine. I don't need one. I'll just be a loner hermit type.

I'm not sure really of where to look online for single guys that are to your taste that want to date.I would suggest craigslist but that isn't really a good place I think when I look there for women. I always hear about meetup.com being good. Never tried it myself.

Forums are good if you want to try starting something/anything no matter the distance. Me personally have had a few interested in me from various forums.Depression forums because I am/was depressed. Social phobia forums because I am a social phobic/never go out. They all failed because of me in the end.

I tend to think girls aren't as visual as men. Looks probably still matter though. A good picture is probably everything when it comes to online. I am sure for men they want someone who is eye candy. I know that probably doesn't matter for some and that people do have different tastes. Yeah I probably can't answer the question of where to look since I myself don't really know. I think really if you want better luck, take a very nice picture. Get dressed up. Make up. Take a very nice picture.They'll see your nice picture and then see that you like cool things like anime and video games... they will be hooked. You may say you won't change anything about yourself, which is fine, but to say looks don't matter would be a lie.

Dress up, some nice lipstick, do your hair. Other girl stuff.

I'm sure some aren't. I'm also saying you can take a better picture. I honestly don't think that one is very flattering. It's too close and shows more flaws that if taken better wouldn't be as noticeable or seen at all. Maybe have someone take a full body shot. Better lighting.

only you control your feelings and emotions. And a relationship involves two people, so if you can't be happy on your own, no one will want to be with you. A relationship is to share your happiness and life with someone, so why would someone want to bring their world down for someone else, who thinks that they can just use another person for happiness?

You're right. You're absolutely right.....I'm not suited for a relationship and I'll never be suited. I don't know what else to do. I already took off several years to "focus on myself" as they say....and where did it get me? NOWHERE!!!!!!
