I would probably look into what makes a person toxic and see if I fit the mold and if I do see what I can do to make a positive change.

Well, I've looked up what a toxic personality is, and got this: 5 Warning Signs You're Dealing With A Toxic Person

I pretty much fit two of the 5 signs...does that mean I'm toxic?

No one here could really say if your toxic or not. If you have been told this and you have researched a bit and have concerns... You should find a Therapist and find out if there is any problem(s) areas in your life that could be helped by seeking professional help

You're toxic? YOU'RE TOXIC????? Look at the world around us darlin THE WORLD is what's toxic! I'm beginning to think that WE are the sane ones! Consider the source of who is calling you this. Do they live in glass houses? If so, they shouldn't throw stones! Those who would judge you so cruely are already beneath you! Don't let them get to you. If YOU feel there are things you need to improve upon, sobeit. But don't let anyone else define who you are or should be. If anything, listening to the ridicule and judgement of others will only keep you from being all that you can be!

Earlier this year my brother told me he did not like talking to me, Because All I do is Complain. And it tore me up for almost a week. Then I realized something. Everyone in my life brings me their problems to solve.

You know, Things like...
Siblings needed money. Well I could loan them a few K to save their house, Even though I was living on saved funds till my disability kicked in (no stress)
Father needed a ride to the VA, Well Sure I could do that. After all its not like it was 8 hours of driving.

And I discovered something. All I had was problems coming in, Other peoples problems and What else was I going to do. So After bringing that up to my brother when he was about to relay a message for someone needing help (And in all fairness my brother is the only relation I have that actually returns the favor) And I started to complain about the lack of warning and in the process of doing that I set him Off. I did something I almost never do. I sounded off in Anger.

I told him " What the H%$$ do you expect me to do, All people do is bring me their problems and want me to solve them, What do you expect me to do, Be sunshine and rainbows about it"

We had a bit of a brotherly discussion, And a few hours later We had both learned some useful things.

Although After that I stopped with the blank checks for helping my relations and Although they consider me many many many...colourful and most likely against the rules of the forums to post things. I've been a far more sociable person sense then.

Or as a friend of mine says " I spent a level on being a butthole, And became far less of one to deal with"

But your mileage may vary. But what I do mean to say is this. Don't just look at what you do, Look at why you do it. And If this is something that triggers you...Well I will say if that inspecting is something that triggers you. It may well be time to have a sit down and slow talk with some objective party. Even if it is the faceless internet people.
