Ha! I used to wonder if I was a brutal dictator in a past life or something.

Its more apparent than ever that if karma is so I must have been a guillotine in a past life. Hmm or dictator day indeed. Still feel that way Richard?

I never knew you could let go of people. I grew up with an alcoholic Mom who moved us around the world. If I had tried to let go of her I would have had her rounding up all her poltergeist doubts and fears of not being a good person or mother and had them dumped on my head. I then found a controlling really troubled husband who tracked my every move on one hand and then gave endless love on the other. I had four kids with him. If I let him go I would have had to go to war on an epic scale with him. Instead, I kept saying my truths and eventually they didn't want me in their lives. I am now 50, so it wasn't a good plan. It is a nice thought to keep with me - that you can say "No" to someone, you can let them go. There is a whole world of wonderful people to love.

Thanks KaraD

I have moments of happiness. Then, I have the challenge of finding new people to love; a long journey with me being the fool.

I used to tell my mom all the time that I must have been Jack the Ripper or someone equally despicable in one of my past lives. As long as I wasn't a certain German dictator, I'm cool with this.

The night city grows
Look at the horizon glow
Drinking in the lights
Following the neon signs
Looking at the milky skyline
The city is my church
It wraps me in blinding twilight...

Funny... I've been thinking along these lines too. Whatever I did do I'm paying for it now; or maybe I had it so good and need to experience some pain to balance it out a little.
