I unfortunately have noticed I have a lack of emotions. I am only happy, which is great I can't complain, but I don't understand sadness and how people can't just get over things. I cannot relate to people when they are crying and I automatically become nervous when people show any emotion other than happiness. I also am appalled by physical contact and the thought of being in a relationship makes me physically sick, but I am attracted to guys. I am kind of at a miss on why any of this is....
Thanks for this!

Same here. I researched a lot about this topic and there are a lot of psychological disorders (don't know if its the right word) and I think you should look it up too. Maybe you could find something that fits your traits.

I will continue my search, but it is funny due to my lack of emotions I also couldn't care if I don't find answers. I obviously want answers, but if I don't get them, oh well. I guess I can't complain that I don't feel emotional pain, I just want to be able to comprehend why other people do.

Same here. Again. But I also like to do research in psychological problems because I want to be a psychologist. Well atleast it's one of my interests. And just like you said a lack of emotions is nothing bad, even a pro in my opinion.

Consider yourself lucky! Some times I get too emotional, some times emotionless. I personally do not like or think it's good to be too emotional.

You've used word here like nervous, appalled, physically sick, that sound to me like you are having feelings other than happiness at times, even if it may be anxiety.

In a way I envy you - I have too many emotions that go thru wild changes a dozen times a day.

i used to take an anti-depressant that left me just sort of "floating" not negative - not positive - but it made me gain a lot of weight so I'm on something else. I'd settle right now for numb.
Thanks for this!

A Little Lost has it right and it's also why we tend to self medicate more too. I wish I could turn off my emotions at will! Like a switch.
