Sharing a recent family hurt with my husband and bringing up other problems that hurt instead of just sticking with the one. They are with different family members but I had managed to get some peace in the area of my grandson so to mention the situation was to just open up old wounds. I just managed to swamp myself instead of really dealing with the present problem that was most on my heart. It feels terrible! It doesn't help to list your problems! Just let the emotions of one situation be dealt with. I feel like I am dizzy physically from the pain of it all. What a reminder of what is not helpful to do.

PianogirlPlays, that is so true. bringing up old wounds only seems to open them.
Sometimes I just think silence is golden. It is less likely to result in emotional pain. Emotional wounds heal incredibly slow so I try not to keep taking off the bandage.
