I have decided to quit............I have been fighting for what I want but now realize that it doesn't help. My worst fear of being alone has been realized.

If I recall you are coming out of a long term marriage? That's painful, no doubt. Hopes and dreams dashed in a single moment. It's traumatic.

Being out on your own and independent for probably, the first time, is a whole new universe for many.

It's not the end of the world, even though 'right now' feels like it.

To be alone isn't necessarily to be lonely.

Be kind and gentle with yourself.
