Thanks for all the replies. I actually posted in the psychotherapy forum because my T, and therapy in general, makes these feelings stronger.

I feel left out all the time. I look at people, trying to understand how they manage to lead happy, full lives and I can't figure it out.
It's like there's a piece I'm missing, a mystery I'm not part of.
It's good to read I'm not the only one.

Ugh! I don't like to hear that!!

But now that you mention it, my weekly sessions with T is the only time I do feel I fit in and belong somehow, somewhere. Interesting how my T can have so much influence over me (and not just with this).

I was about to post this same question. I am so flawed, and my essence is so terrible, that it contaminates everyone who comes near me. Even online. I've tried to purge myself, tried to prtend i was normal, tried to have people just acceptm me as I am. But it's no use. I need to live in an isolation tank.

I feel like the lone wolf of my family but I think that is mostly because I live so far away.

Honestly, yes. There's times I feel left out even when I'm invited & included to things. It's weird. 1 of my parents was never apart of my life so maybe it's a 'fear of abandonment' chip that I'm carrying on my shoulder. I know what you mean though because it's never a jealousy feeling, it's just a 'not appreciated & less important option' feeling for me.
