Out of nowhere I'm just heartbroken that I'm single. No man stood by me nor I him. I feel so alone.

I get that!... I too get sad that I am alone , I have been in a long process of divorce for a bout 5 years now , he has already moved on and had a baby with new female... So I guess i have been single for 5 years and counting.... sometimes it's a blessing because i don't have to answer to anyone and other times I'm sad because there is no one to snuggle with...

I feel your sadness , and believe that one day you will find that someone whom will be just for you

I am single, and even though I need affection and feel alone and lonely at times, I try to transform my mental energy to something else. If there is something life has taught me, it is that the more you run after something/someone, the more that something/someone runs away from you. Be content of who/what you are, and you'll attract the alike.

I'm sorry you feel so alone. But it's not the end of the world if you don't have a man. I haven't for many years. There is so much about being single that I like even though I am looking for a man on a dating site now. If you don't want to be single then you may want to take action and be positive that things can get better in that regard. I find that thinking positive helps me a lot.

You just got out of horrible marriage to a con artist. I would use this time to heal and enjoy my single hood perhaps see a therapist and then when you are ready then it is going to happen. It is actually a good thing you are single right now. You need time to figure things out. Do you work? Have hobbies? Maybe you could see if you can move out and live on your own.

I would put my energy into it. Like in general getting better. Being happier. Then when time comes it will happen.

I came to a point where I'm trying to be happy by myself. I've only had one serious relationship, I am a failure at getting to know people well (or letting them know me).

Oh well, that's life.

Don't be heartbroken Aviza, being single gives you the opportunity to get back in touch with yourself and accomplish old dreams.

In the last few years, I got back into bass playing (got REALLY good), I started learning synthetizers (but not to play today's pop music, to play Tangerine Dream and true electronic music), am re-learning mathematics to become a software designer, plan to learn programming/video games creation, I go to the movie theater 2-3 times per month, I workout as if I was Arnold Schwarzenegger, I play all the video games I dreamt of playing as a kid but my single father wasn't a millionaire so I couldn't play them, I take the bus and go explore uncharted territories of my town, go walk down an abandonned railroad or lost wood, I do all the little things I ever dreamt of and let me tell you, it puts your whole existence back into perspective when you find back the beauty in the smallest of things.

Listen to this song, I'm learning it on synthetizers and when I play it, it takes me to another world. There's no more sadness about being single, just an universe to explore, the possibilities are boundless and that's what I like the most about music creation or any kind of creation, everything stops. The pain, the worries, the time, everything. There is just you and the infinity before your very eyes.
