My therapist has me writing emotional weather reports, so I know how to cope with my emotions. I am slowly learning how to label what I am feeling. Everyday, I write up my emotional weather report on something that stressed me out or bothered me, and I used emotional words to write how I felt. I circle all the emotions that I think I felt. Then, I have rethink the situation and circle more words that I felt. After that, I circle/write how my body felt during the situation. Then, I have to rethink if there was a way that I could better handle the situation. Finally, I write what I learned about the situation. I have only written 5 reports so far, but I think it is helping me cope with my emotions.

Did she give you a standard form to use? Is it available online? Do you mind me asking? I'm sorry!
So much of the time I deal with depersonalization and derealization, getting in touch with my emotions can be a real task.
Thank you for any response you can give.
