I went to my brother in law's graduation over the weekend. Him and all of his brothers have girlfriends (four brothers total) including my sister who has two kids with the oldest one. I'm in my 30s, single, no kids. And that was fine by me, until this weekend. This morning I woke up with the huge burden of loneliness. Being single is my choice, but having some companionship would be nice too. I've never felt so alone...

maybe to ease your loneliness you might want to think about having a pet. because you said that you being single is a choice (which is totally fine) a pet might be able to provide the companionship you, now, crave.
Thanks for this!

Thanks! I have a cat. I got her back in 2007. But I'm starting to feel a little better now.

I don't know how much of what you're going after when you said companionship. I say, go find cupid if you think you're ready. Ask the cat.
Thanks for this!

Well i know its hard but trust me this situation comes from your mind and yous subconstient mind .You must find positivity in your life and something that you makes you feel bad .Try law of attraction man it works but you must influence your subcontient mind ,watch also bob proctor paradigm shift

Some events and situations do give us pause for thought. If you are happily single, would you consider casual dating (I don't mean promiscuity), just a friend or two that you could take to things where a companion would be nice.

I have the same problem,I have found following my interests and keeping busy helps take the edge of loneliness.I know though that some companionship would help a lot.I have two cats and they are some company but not the ideal solution and it still gets lonely.
Don't despair though just make a point of looking for friendship and keep your eyes open for that ideal companion.
Thanks for this!

Hang in there. My cat definitely helps me!!even being on this site-because for me,you all understand bipolar-and all the side issues, challenges, etc. My in real friends-would not get it,period. My family understands...some. but, keeping myself busy with other interests-helps. We all want deeper companionships-from time to time. Also, for me-and to feel like I matter to someone
Thanks for this!
