The AC is broken. My smoke detector is chirping. I'm supposed to start working two jobs tomorrow. My weekend was exhausting and I still can't sleep?!

Last night sirens every 30 minutes. 10 cops, 2 ambulances, and a fire truck tending to an accident right outside my window. Basically wore myself out washing clothes. Mom let me wash at her house but her dryer was broken.

Church this morning, lunch, I had my daughter and told her we would go to the Y. I got a guest pass and we worked out. Came home chill a bit, make dinner, take her dads. Get a few things done about to go to bed. Than smoke alarm beeps every few minutes. I took it apart. It's hard wired. Still beeping.

I cannot take it! I'm starting 2nd job tomorrow. I need rest. I'm this close to saying forget it. I paid my money to have an apartment I can't even sleep in because it's so uncomfortable! Hot, humid, and noisy! I'm losing it here!

Cut wires in dedector. It's still making noise but now bedrooms have no electricity. I cut red and white. Red I thought would do it. This is awful.

just a little concerned. Does this detector also detect carbon monoxide? They will chirp like that as the level of the gas/exhaust increases.

That's what my best friend said. Fixed now. At least my lights work and it's quiet.
