Today I am grateful for:

The pool I swam in
The sunshine before the rain which allowed me to dry some laundry outdoors
The beautiful blue/green paint I am painting my fences with
My son who makes us smile every day
All my family
My friends who I am looking forward to seeing tomorrow
The asparagus I bought for tonight's meal
Hugs from:

Thanks for this!

My friend,
My successes today
My gerd pills (must get that refilled!)
Shelter from the elements
My bed, saggy mattress and all

My cable just died and I'll have to call the cc for help, but I feel it's 50% chance it will come back on.

ETA it came back on! The power strip had gotten turned off, that was all.

I'm really glad that it's Sunday because I'd have been seriously more upset with myself if I had slept all of some other day.

My apartment still has the odor of what those freaks were burning last night under my window. And it smells horrible. Dear God please make them get their karma.

Thank God for the sudden rain that kept my pos neighbors from carrying on burning that awful garbage earlier. I smell it back again now, though.

  • My cats - They never fail to be hilarious and adorable. :3

Good thread - I'm never grateful enough!
So, today I am grateful for:
Calgary Stampede - I love watching it.
My daughter's phone call - she's working out of town and I miss her.
Payday...need I say more.
Fresh garden carrots that I enjoyed with supper.
Thanks for this!

I always forget to be thankful.

I'm very grateful for cats, how else would we not try to rid our homes of mice and rats. Cats are beautiful and sweet and loyal and they stop to look at you with their eyes narrowing - that is a feline kiss. Cats can love their human to the ends of the earth and back.

I'm grateful for the locks on my door. The janitor has not gotten my door open with me inside, and I pray he never does. But I have things arranged right around our door that he'd have to put back just so.

AC !!!

My TV set.

Okay I missed yesterday so I will combine it in todays:

I am grateful for:

My lovely neighbours who are considerate and kind
The flowers which bloom in our yard and lift my spirits
My friend making it through her surgery safely
The community of people of all sexualities who support the local Pride event, celebrating diversity not condemning it
My friend's son who is a gifted musician and shares his talent with us all despite his MH struggles
Thanks for this!
