So - this thought kept on cycling in my mind about using emojis for therapeutic purposes where words fail - as in one picture is worth one thousand words and getting to the gist of the matter in speedy fashion.

Can we start using them in a way that furthers our emotive faculties? I am having a REALLY hard time putting into words how I feel - don't even know if words can encompass what I am feeling right now - simply because - some of these emotions are PRE-VERBAL.

I need emojis that can convey what I am feeling.

Aside from a huge amount of numbness, I would imagine that I am feeling grief. And sadness. And a sense of being forlorn and forgotten.

I'm not sure about emojis but it does help me if I have a list of emotional states and emoticons/emojis next to the states are quite fun. I like the list of moods here (however, it lacks "indifferent" in my opinion - ha, I named it, my success) and facebook also has a rich list of emotional states to include in your post, which is pretty cool.
Thanks for this!
