Hi, I'm new here.

Usually I don't take too much stock in my dreams, but the one I had last night was different. I can't talk about it to anyone bc I don't want to bring up memories that will hurt them.

The dream: A dead family member came back to life. They were happy and vibrant. Then, suddenly the family member started to decompose rapidly. They were moaning "I wanted to live" as their jaw became slack and their face and body turned pale and decrepit.

I was just watching, feeling no horror or shock. All I felt was a sense of guilt. I think I feel this way bc I didn't spend enough time with them while they were healthy. The family member asked me to spend time with them multiple times, but I was too caught up in my own problems I didn't want to spend any effort going to their house. I think I could have made her see again that life was still something to hold on to. Instead, I was selfish, and left her to her depression.

The dream is about your depression moldering away. This is actually a dream about your healing from depression. Just keep taking care of yourself and you will do well!
