So here comes that feeling again. feel like I could cry so i probably will writing this. My grand pa died a couple yrs ago oct 7 2014 he was 97 I used to be a avid hunter and fisherman old gramp hunted until he was 92 the last time we fished together was 2009. Gramp always new there was something different about me. 1981 he retired he became my best freind for sum reason me and his son never did much together my dad me and gramp bowhunted 18 yrs in a row after he retired when passed hunters safety I got too stomp on brushpiles to kick the rabbit out and run down the corn rows to flush the pheasants out he was even there the first time i shot at a deer gun hunting. The Kid he called me. Ibet we went fishing together at least a hundred times. My dad was an avid hunter and fisherman too. I don't know why I only have one memory of me and him doing hunti or fishen together. I know why it's not the right forum. So here I sit oct in WI my dog and me inside I couldn't even get my gear ready let alone go walk a fenceline hunting with Cooper my great hunting dog what a waste.

I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss, and for your sadness.

It's wonderful however to have such wonderful memories you shared with your grandpa. He isn't with you physically now but held close in your memories. So many people never shared wonderful times like that with anyone to make good memories that last.

Know memories hurt when we look back while missing the person but they hold a warm & caring place in our heart (emotional mind) also & that is an important feeling to acknowledge also
