I'm just venting...I don't know what to do. I"m talking to my pdoc in a few days, but lately the symptoms of my PTSD are worse and I don't know why. I can't identify any triggers that I'm aware of.

I'm experiencing intense anxiety, panic attacks and then also agitation throughout the day. Much more than I was. Now it's at least 2-3 panic attacks or bouts of extreme agitation per day.

And I had a dissociative episode two weeks ago, which I hadn't had in almost 2 years.

Something is exacerbating my symptoms, and destabilizing my mental frame of mind.

I don't know how to cope with this anxiety or agitation anymore if I can't identify what is causing the panic and/or agitation. These triggers flying under the radar, set me off, and I don't know the connection.

It's really frustrating.

Therapy might be causing this, as you grow and learn and heal, this often happens. Stick with it.

I've done quite a bit of therapy over the past 3 years. It's not because therapy can be uncomfortable, as you say. You have to find a therapist that you feel can work with you and be effective. I have yet to find one of those in this city.

I still think doing Therapy is the reason for your increased feelings. You just done Therapy in a style that worked best for you. Maybe now you do not need a Therapist anymore.

I hadn't done therapy in a while, I think you are misunderstanding. I had tried out a couple of different therapists over the course of a year, but found them to be ill qualified to deal with childhood abuse in adult survivors. They mostly dealt with combat ptsd. I haven't done therapy in like 2 months. So nothing was brought up in therapy recently that caused this. Sorry for the confusion.

Have you reached out to your pdoc? I understand what you're saying about therapy. It took me going through many, many therapists to find one who could really help me.
Thanks for this!

Yes, but my appointment isn't until next week. And I'm headed into a really rough week at work.

I'm just trying to manage my stress level and do lots of self care.
