Oh boy. I have been hot tempered these last 10 days. I have allowed my emotions to tip the balance and get the better of me. Three times now I have had an outburst. They haven't been unwarranted though. Twice I spoke up and came to the defence of someone being mercilessly bullied (the first for being oddly different the second being a racist attack). And once more, again, I had to stand up the third time for a case of moral correctness. Though in each case I think I did the right thing, I am a little uncomfortable though with reaching such extreme emotion so rapidly. I seem to be right on the edge.

Is being hot tempered unusual for you? Do you have anything going on in your life right now that could be considered stressful. Good for you for standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves. I do the same thing.

As long as it's for causes like this, you should be fine. You're standing up for what you think it's right. Keep yourself on check and all should go well.

It sounds like each instance has been justified, not simply being 'hot tempered' generally (which would be a very different situation) but for 3 very specific situations. Perhaps you are feeling injustice a lot at the moment and that is very triggering for you.
