Maybe these things happened to you, maybe they happened to someone else.... Here's your chance to tell them.
I'll go first: I remember a guy who was kinda awkward in jr. high, but he would speak his mind. Quietly, but with confidence. He wasn't perfect, and he sometimes got things wrong, and he knew it. But, the people around him thought it was funny to loudly ask him questions, and then berate his answers, no matter what those answer were, without even checking to see if he knew what he was talking about. An example: Many states, including the state he lived in have a different style of plates for trucks than they do for cars. I don't know why it even came up, but one day, someone loudly asked this guy if he knew why some plates looked different than others. He replied, "Well, trucks have a different style". The respondent laughed and said, "That can't be true, because I saw an El Camino with a truck plate.." His response was, "In our state El Caminos are classified as trucks." More laughter. __________________ My business is to teach my aspirations to conform themselves to fact, not to try and make facts harmonise with my aspirations. T.H. When I was in... oh... about 4th or 5th grade I guess it must have been... (so many decades ago) a girl in our class who was always very quiet wet her pants in class. I think I remember it because in... oh... around 7th or 8th grade or so... I vomited in class...

I remember a quiet guy in jr. high who others liked to pick on. One day, some bullies put books in his backpack that hadn't been checked out. There were electronic sensors in them, so that when he tried to leave the library, alarms went off. The librarian made him open his backpack, and he had a hard time explaining what the books were doing there.

Pretty mild compared to some of the crap I did when I was that age. Probably the most evil think I ever did as a kid was made another kid's life a living hell over a Magic: The Gathering card. See, thanks to my worthless cumdumpster of a mom lying to the police telling them I assaulted her all because I finally got tired of her lies and abuse (and had the courage to stand up to her!) having me carted away in handcuffs as a 10 year old, I ended up in the foster care system for a couple years. While there, since I didn't have my precious books and video games, I took a liking to trading cards (Magic: The Gathering and YuGiOh). Me and one of the foster kids would scrounge up change and go to garage sales and flea markets and find cheap cards for sale. I lucked out and stumbled upon the Black Lotus card that somebody threw out in a garage sale for $2, which is considered to be the rarest and most powerful card to date. In fact, the card can run between $1,000 to well over 10 grand depending on it's condition. Anyways, we had a group of people we would play cards with and we later started playing for each other's rarest card. One day, I decided I would play my foster brother for his card and lost. He won my Black Lotus as a result. I proceeded to beat the **** out of him until he was crying begging me to stop. When the foster parent found out what happened, he took all of our cards away. I then, tormented him every single day when the foster parent left for work. I would verbally harass him because he was a crybaby. I would tell him nobody loved him and his family didn't want him back. I made his life a living hell for daring to take my precious cards away because of his pathetic whining. This lasted until he was discharged several months later. People prob think I was a monster but the foster kids that were with me before him treated me the same way all because I'm white and they were black, and my mother flat out abandoned me to the system so I gave zero ****s at that point. You try to take away one of the few things that bring me joy after everything else has been taken from me I will make you suffer. Simple as that. |

He was really frustrated and started yelling, "why are you so stupid?" "why can't you show some common sense?" He knew that she knew what he wanted. He wanted her to understand that he was right about spending that money on a new TV. Why couldn't she realize that?

when I was a kid, a friend took me on a bucking bronco
she said that the cowgirl has to come with me on the bronco, or I couldn't go on it I was so angry with her I said to her look... are you trying to restrict me?. I can handle a ****ing bronco on my own, I don't need a woman dressed up as a cowgirl to come on with me eventually I didn't go on it because she wouldn't let me go alone, and we fell out after the bronco insident this same friend also got me a stick on tattoo I wanted a pirate one on my arm (shiver me timbers), but she ended up getting me a snake I was so ****ing mad at her I'm not too old to like pirates. I will never be too old to like pirates |

He was standing in line- because his wife asked him to. She had gotten her hotdog, but was standing in another line for popcorn, when she decided she was too hungry to wait- she caught his attention, and now he was standing in line while she was sitting down and eating her hotdog.
Did the people around him realize that he hadn't cut into the line? As he walked up to take her place, she was stepping out of line to offer assistance to someone who needed a napkin. "I was right there", she said, and then she walked off. He felt very uncomfortable... Why couldn't he have made a quick quip to put people at ease? Something like, "I'm not taking cuts! I'm just taking over for my wife!" Now it was too late, and he could feel their eyes burning into his back. Oh, well, it would soon be over, he would have the popcorn and he could return to his seat. __________________ My business is to teach my aspirations to conform themselves to fact, not to try and make facts harmonise with my aspirations. I used to always sit on the first row of the school bus in kindergarten and first grade. One day I threw up all over the steps... and had to endure all the kids complaining and being grossed out as they exited the bus... they had to literally jump over it.. while I sat in the front seat waiting to go back home. Ugh. Being a kid is tough.

one time I was so annoyed at having to study rainforests in geography class that during the lunch break I broke in to the geography room and stole the cd
I told everyone I was planning to study, but I snapped the disk no more rainforests! I also stole a book from the school and never returned it I remember it well, because on the back of the book their was a label that said " year 5", which is where the book belonged, and I replaced the year 5 label with one with my name on it I don't have the book now, it fell apart |

I probably shouldn't boast about this (actually I really shouldn't), but I've been feeling in a destructive mood lately, so I decided to trash my friends space on the cloud (you know where you can store music, stor pictures, what ever)
I caused enough damage to it that my friend decided to quit using the cloud, and I was able to get the space for myself in my books, that is a win |

yes I was hurting. as for the aftermath, well, it turned out that storing stuff on the cloud was emotionally draining (uploading just 1 folder to the cloud would take me ages), and I ended up giving up on it. it didn't hit me what I'd done until I was told... now I need to find another place to back up all my stuff and yes. I felt like the worst person in the world. it must have taken ages to build up that collection on the cloud I felt even worse when I knew I wasn't going to use it either |

during my first manic episode, I decided to see if I could get on the show " who wants to be a millionaire?"
as it turns out, the question they asked on the phoneline was very easy- and I chose a date I'd like to be on the show well, I never showed up to the filming, and on the night of the show they actually said, on tv (word for word) " and someone else" I was sitting on my bed shaking a little (trying to figure out if they were going to get a 10th player on the show), but they didn't they litirally stuck with 9 players that night |

A vivid memory: My boyfriend, we were high school seniors, running down the long school hall with me on his shoulders. We were both laughing hysterically. A teacher stopped us and said we were being "too tactile". I clearly remember wondering why the teacher was referring to peaches.
(Those were the days, my friend; I thought they'd never end.) |

I want to share this (because it's one of the few times I actually felt appreciated)
this girl, josie, I met her one day at random, and we got talking about stuff well, she collapsed while we were talking, and I later found out that the reason was that her drink had been spiked and I stayed by her and helped her (like put her in to recovery position and stuff), she came round (thank god), and the first thing she did as soon as she came round and could breav, was thank me for saving her life. my first thought was, well, usually people have nothing good to say about me, or don't appreciate my help, but she did, and she let me know- I felt wanted, even if for a couple of seconds. she ended up continuing her journey, but I don't think she ever forgot my kindness |
