I saw a text from a kid to my child which was a bit mean.My kid responded with some mean things back. This seems like a way they keep up and it does not seem like bullying. For some reason,I feel upset over this. Is this normal?I was not bullied in school and so confused about the sadness I feel.

Well.. how mean it was, exactly? If they were insults and stuff like that, it's understandable you'd feel upset. Perhaps you should talk with your child...
Thanks for this!

Time to take the phone away from him for a while. To much negative feelings on it. Time for quarantine.

Maybe it was the type of language they were using and coming from little kids, I could see how it might be upsetting. You want them to be saying only nice things.
