Am I self-centered if I get upset that something doesn't work out for me?
Before I was looking forward to going outside but the weather was horrible. Why? All of a sudden? Is it just bad luck if the weather just suddenly went horrible the day my family were planning to go out? No let's go deeper.. Is it God or Satan doing this? My life has taken a dark turn with my hospitalization etc. My parents told me I'm being selfish and I'm not thinking about how my problems effect people. Maybe they're right? I don't know.. Also, there's a lot to this than just a bad day. |

Did you sort in the corner of your apartment with no furniture with a blanket over your head begging whatever is out there to please let this building, which was made a point by several others to be a quiet building, to just have something be quiet for ten minutes? Oh wait, no. Don't do that. It didn't help me. At least I'm waiting for my T appointment now.
The weather's not even predictable any more. It's a lot of factors and I don't think there's a God/devil thing at play in it at all. You're only being selfish when it negatively effects people and you only benefit. Maybe I'm wrong. Dunno |

A therapist in hospital says day one, "it's ok to be selfish. You're here, be the hospital or life, to take care of yourself first."

@yogurtesss:
I just think you felt very disappointed when the weather turned grey. Maybe you felt as if you'd had enough bad luck all ready. It's not selfish. |
