He's texting me every day. I have told him I have moved on, though not entirely, but my emotions aren't really with him anymore. I can't bring myself to block him entirely. That just seems harsh and part of me likes the attention. I guess I like having him on the back burner in case military guy doesn't work out, but it really can't work out with him so I know logically I need to let him go. But with him not letting me go it makes it harder. Is there something I can say or do besides blocking him?

I know it's hard, but you need to block him, or at least make things clear once and for all.

“Keeping him on the back burner” is not fair to him and not healthy for you. If the relationship didn’t work, it’s time to block him and move on.
