Our wonderful housemate/friend moved out. He has lived here under our roof for 8 years and he was such a wonderful help and comfort to me because my husband works on the railroad and is never home And, when he IS...he doesn't have much use for me. He was perfect. He was in his room most of the time on his Xbox or computer and was respectful of privacy and very clean. He moved because he had a bit of a drive to work and had wrecked a vehicle falling asleep at the wheel last year. I feel sadness like I haven't in a LONG time. The only upside is that I have been too upset to eat and have lost some weight which I needed to do.
