I have 3 family members that live at Panama City Beach. Two of them are disabled. One on oxygen, and one in a wheelchair. They couldn't get out bc none have transportation. Yesterday I called the Red Cross, and filed a report. Then on line I filed a report with the National Guard. I haven't heard anything from my family members since Thursday around 2 in the afternoon, and nothing from Red Cross, or National Guard. I tried to call the family members this morning but didn't get anyone.

I'm so sorry. I would be very nervous, too. Let's hope and pray that nothing serious has happened to them and that they're doing ok.

I'm sorry. Your feelings are understandable. Maybe they are just without power. I will pray for you and them.

Update, There have been a few staging stations set up, and my brother had just enough power for his WC to get to one of them. He was able to charge his phone, and chair. He told me there would be another staging station a mile from the one he was at when I talked to him, and he will be able to get water, and hopefully Ice. He also told me that his insulin has gone bad, and hasn't had any for two days now. He has called around, but hasn't been able to find any. After I got off the phone with him, I tried the Red Cross to see if they could get him some, but they were no longer answering, and there phone # wasn't even ringing any more. No one has even been in the apt. complex to see about these people. I know there are people that are still being dug out from the rubble, but if these agency's don't check on the disabled, that were not able to get out there will be many more deaths.
