I have no physical disability, but I am crippled in my mind. I cannot do the simplest of things, and stop the self-pity, and feeling worthless. I feel I am trapped in this life, and I am forced into living it.

Hi Sans Nom,

Yes, I'm attacked by very similar thoughts as well. It's a constant battle with my own mind and emotions - a crazy struggle. So, I can relate.

But I just wanted to say, one thing that I utilize so as to keep these thoughts from impacting me worse than they do, is mindfulness. Have you heard of it? Or do you use it? The mental health field always recommend it. There's a lot of info on the internet about it and even here, somewhere, on PC.

For me, mindfulness in conjunction with my meds does help somewhat, so I'm just putting that out there.

Peace to you, Sans Noms.
