I have been feeling extreme boredom for the last couple of days that I'm going crazy. I cannot watch anything for more than 5 seconds. I keep changing videos on YouTube/Netflix to find something interesting I can watch and kill some time ... but nothing. Everything seems boring to me. It's not like I can read these days .. God forbid. I try to sleep, but I cannot sleep, and I get anxious.

Do you have any hobbies? Play any sports? Can you pick up extra hours at work? Take an online (or offline) course? Go for a walk? Volunteer somewhere?

I struggle with boredom and it ALWAYS leads to depression for me. I am worried about the next few weeks when I’m off school - that I might get bored. I’m trying to be proactive and made a list of things I can do if I get bored.

Maybe make a list of things you can force yourself to do?

I cannot do anything. I am registered in some online courses, but I cannot focus, and have zero motivation. I am unemployed, and this doesn't help. I would go for a walk if the weather was nicer, but it's cold. I feel like I am in prison.
