I really am mad at myself. I am one of those 'very smart people' who lack basic common sense and it's embarrassing. I am top of my class and I can't do simple stuff, like putting necklaces on, tying things, you get the gist. I don't know what it is it's like my head can't wrap around things like that, things only that are theoretical and scientific. Can't tie trash bags, I'm just a loser.
I have an examination in two weeks on basic things, and you know what? I can't do it. My hands shake, I freak out. Everyone else in my class with dexterity can perform a lot faster and better than I can. I'm better with more academics then physical stuff, and I am incredibly embarrassed. I just feel bad about myself and sad because I feel like I am alone. Someone 'super smart' can't do these simple things because my 'brain is wired a different way'. Sorry just need to vent. ![]() |

I am 22. I think I have dyspraxia or something. It's entirely embarrassing and I am so sad over this.

I've heard that dyspraxia is more common than is reported. Maybe it isn't diagnosed well, especially in adults.
