I feel a bit overwhelmed by dark emotions. I am having mild gastro issues and it may be a virus. I was supposed to go to therapy today, but because I don't want to get anyone else sick at this time, I called first, and they told me to stay home. I just ended a very close friendship yesterday, and I'm sad. The first case of coronavirus was found in my county today by someone who had not traveled. I am scared and feel somewhat alone.
I know that I am healthy (except gastro whatever is going on inside me right now), and my Mom said she is free to talk tonight about my friend, and another friend of mine and I are going to check in with each other this evening as well. I think right now I need to play the distraction game, and get some work done. Sending hugs to anyone else who may be struggling with dark emotions during this time. |

Hang in there. This is a tough time. Distractions are great. I am planning on watching tv show. I’ve been binge watching Younger. It takes my mind off things.

(((WovenGalaxy))),
I think yesterday was hard for you. Yet, I am impressed that you decided to practice some self care. Sometimes, that can cause these emotional struggles and even can be felt in one's digestive tract. That is something I tend to experience myself. From what you have shared this has been an ongoing challenge for you. When that happens with me, it tends to really affect my digestive tract. I can experience it so bad that I can even get the dry heaves. Take this day to relax and find some relaxing destractions. That is what I try to do myself. |

Thank you Divine, Open Eyes and Mickey Cheeky
I went for a walk in the sun, talked to my Mom on the phone, watched Grace & Frankie, and wrote some. My day got better. My stomach is finally feeling better too. I had some pita chips and tzatziki sauce with no problem. Mickey, I like the idea of taking this time to focus on myself a little, and to get some things done. I really appreciate the support from people I have gotten here. Thank you. |
