I am very sorry to hear this. It is nerve wracking because the whole process takes time - before one knows for sure. And it sounds like the resources available are slim. But I guess they need to treat it like any other illness while at the same time keeping up with the Covid 19 recommendations for their environment...wiping down any groceries, leaving shoes at the door etc.
I have an adult son who lives with his girlfriend in a big city across the country from me. I keep calling or texting to ask if they are okay, are practicing social distancing etc. Luckily they live on a street with many friendly neighbors...who would help them out, I am certain. I would be crazy with worry if I were you. Take care. They are young. They can handle whatever it is they have. But the loss of smell is an ominous sign. I think they should stay away from NSAID's...just in case. __________________ |

So they not stepping foot outside. They are stuck up on groceries but if they run out, they have a friend in walking distance who can drop stuff at the door. Yeah she has loss of smell and he has loss of taste, they say it’s the weirdest thing and completely sudden |
