They carefully choose the leaders they follow. They limit social media and exposure. They display self- compassion for lack of productivity. They focus on facts. They meditate. They focus on self-care. Aren't they all great points?! I thought so!
I found these articles to be most helpful right now. I am in fact limiting my exposure to both social media AND the news. If I am on social media, I am only posting positive or funny things, and I am steering clear of all that is negative -- it really helps!!!!

Yup I am following news if it pertains to my work or my daily existence. I am not checking any kind of political fighting right now.

Same -- I can't stomach it, and it just brings down my mood! So I avoid avoid avoid! I watch the news just 2X a day, in the morning and once at night to keep up on Covid 19 happenings and that's it.

Those were all really good points. I will keep them in mind.
I only check the news once every couple days. The world can’t handle such abrupt change so I figure nothing much can change in just a few days. |
