how do i keep my emotions in check, while basically waiting for the other shoe to drop (so to speak)???? okay, it's probably like the 15th shoe by now
![]() i took another moderate hit to the head again a few days ago! and i am horrified that it will become my 3rd brain injury/concussion in 5 years!!! ![]() ![]() so while i'm waiting, how do i keep my emotions calm and the anxiety/nervousness/worry levels down? i have felt crappy today, indicating some possible B.I. symptoms - which has NOT helped at all.... ![]() |

Hi jrae. I am sorry you hit your head. That might be unsettling.
What I do to calm myself is to listen to youtube videos like this @CANDC Hope you find a way to stay calm.

both doctors i saw this week confirmed what i already knew -> i have another concussion brain injury!
i don't think i can handle the kind of 'h**' i went thru last year ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() Because some of my chemo was unpleasant, I find myself dreading it before I go even though, most of the time, it is not as bad bad as I anticipate (the first three chemos were a breeze because I had no anticipation anxiety). When we have had bad experiences, we assume (unconsciously) next time will be just as bad. There is probably not much you can do to keep your emotions in check ![]() ![]() |
